With our integration partner, SmartOffice, you can send information and also receive information into your PreciseFP account.


How the integration works?

To turn on this integration (only needs to be done once in PreciseFP, you do not need to set up the integration in SmartOffice) go to Settings on the left side navigation. You should then be on the Integrations tab. Click on the enable button on the SmartOffice box.

You will then be asked to enter in your SmartOffice credentials.

You will need to enter in your Office name (if unknown please contact SmartOffice support), SmartOffice username and password. Click on the Enable button.

You should get a confirmation notice in the lower left of your dashboard letting you know that you are now successfully connected to SmartOffice.

How do you export files?

Click on client/prospects from the left side navigation. Then click on your client or prospects name to enter their record. While in their record click on export button from the top navigation then choose SmartOffice from the drop down menu.

You can then choose to export to a brand new record or, if the options present themselves, you can export to an existing record that you may already have for the client in SmartOffice. Once you’ve made your selection click on the Export button.

You should then see a message showing you all of the areas that exported over successfully. If there were issues with the export in any area it will indicate as such with detailed notes stating why the section did not export.

This data will now reflect in your SmartOffice records.

How do you import files?

Now that you are connected to your SmartOffice account you can import a client record from SmartOffice into PreciseFP. To do this click on Clients on the left hand side navigation. While on the Clients page click on the Import button and choose SmartOffice from the drop down list.

Next, enter your clients last name in the search box.

Check the radio button to the left of your client then click on the Import button.

After a brief waiting period you will then be taken into the newly imported client record in PreciseFP.

Note: Your client must be listed as a head of a household and have a primary email address on their record in SmartOffice in order to import. If any of these are missing they will not show up when you do a search on importing.
