PreciseFP AI Certification

Badge & Certificate Usage Policy

Effective Date: May 1, 2026
Applies To: All Active PreciseFP AI Certified Credential Holders

1. Purpose

This policy describes how individuals who have earned the PreciseFP AI Certified credential may use the official badge and certificate assets. It covers both digital and physical usage, permitted and prohibited uses, and specific rules that apply to each credential type.

Proper usage protects the value of the credential, ensures PreciseFP’s brand is represented accurately, and complies with applicable law. Misuse may result in credential revocation.

2. Who This Applies To

This policy applies to all individuals who have been issued a PreciseFP AI Certified badge or certificate and whose credential is currently active (not expired or revoked). A credential is “active” when it appears as valid in the PreciseFP credential registry at [INSERT VERIFICATION URL].

Important: A credential is only active if it shows as valid in the registry. A certificate PDF or badge image on your device does not confirm active status. The registry is the authoritative source of truth.

3. The Two Credential Assets

The PreciseFP AI Certified program issues two credential assets upon passing. Each has its own usage rules, described in full in Sections 5 and 6 below.

4. General Rules — Both Badge and Certificate

4.1 Active Credential Required

Both the badge and the certificate may only be displayed or shared while the credential is active. Upon expiration or revocation, all display and sharing must cease immediately, including removing the badge from LinkedIn and email signatures and stopping distribution of the certificate PDF.

4.2 No Alteration

Neither credential asset may be altered in any way. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Changing any text, including names, dates, scores, or titles
  • Modifying colors, fonts, layout, or proportions
  • Removing, cropping, or obscuring any element, including the PreciseFP wordmark, credential ID, or the fine print disclaimer
  • Digitally editing the certificate PDF
  • Combining either asset with other design elements in a way that changes its meaning or appearance

4.3 No Misrepresentation

The PreciseFP AI Certified credential is a product education credential only. It is not a professional license, regulatory certification, or continuing education credit. Neither asset may be displayed in any context that implies it is a regulatory credential, satisfies FINRA/SEC/CFP Board/NASAA requirements, or constitutes an endorsement of investment advice or financial services.

4.4 No Transfer

Credentials are issued to named individuals and may not be transferred, shared, or used by any other person. Sharing badge files or certificate PDFs with another person so they may claim them as their own is a violation of these terms and may constitute fraud.

4.5 Verification Is the Source of Truth

All active credentials are verifiable at [INSERT VERIFICATION URL] using the Credential ID. When a client, employer, regulator, or other party asks to verify a credential, direct them to the registry. Do not represent a certificate PDF or badge image alone as proof of current certification status, as these do not reflect expiration or revocation.

5. Digital Badge — Specific Rules

5.1 Official Badge Files

PreciseFP provides two official badge variants. Use the appropriate variant for the display context:

  • Dark background (primary) — for display on light or white backgrounds
  • Light background variant — for display on dark backgrounds or where the dark badge has insufficient contrast

Badge files are provided via the credential issuance email or your credential platform account. Do not recreate the badge from scratch or use an unofficial version.

5.2 Approved Badge Uses

  • LinkedIn Profile (Licenses & Certifications)
  • Email Signature
  • Professional Website or Bio Page
  • Client-Facing Marketing Materials
  • Conference Bios and Presentations
  • Social Media (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, etc.)

5.3 Prohibited Badge Uses

  • Altering the badge colors, fonts, proportions, or any design element
  • Placing the badge on a background that renders it illegible or distorted
  • Displaying the badge after your credential has expired, without completing renewal
  • Representing the badge as a regulatory license, CE credit, or professional certification issued by any regulator
  • Using the badge in any context that implies PreciseFP endorses your investment advice, financial services, or business generally
  • Sharing your credential link or badge files with anyone else to claim as their own
  • Embedding the badge in advertising that could be construed as deceptive or misleading
  • Using the badge in any political, religious, or partisan context

6. Certificate of Completion — Specific Rules

6.1 What the Certificate Is

The PreciseFP AI Certified Certificate of Completion is a PDF document issued to credential holders upon passing the certification quiz. It includes the holder’s name, issue date, valid-through date, and a unique Credential ID that can be used to verify the credential in the registry.

Note: The certificate PDF is a static document. Unlike the badge on a credential platform, the PDF does not update automatically when a credential expires or is revoked. It is the credential holder’s responsibility to stop sharing the certificate PDF when their credential is no longer active.

6.2 Approved Certificate Uses

  • Printing the certificate for personal display (e.g., framing for an office wall)
  • Including a copy of the certificate in a professional portfolio or proposal sent to clients or prospective employers, provided the credential is currently active
  • Attaching the certificate PDF to an email when requested by a client or employer as evidence of training completion, with a note directing the recipient to verify current status at [INSERT VERIFICATION URL]
  • Displaying a photograph or scan of the printed certificate on professional platforms or social media, provided the credential is currently active

6.3 Certificate Integrity Requirements

The certificate must be shared only in its original, unmodified form. The following constitute violations:

  • Editing the PDF in any way, including changing text, dates, names, or layout
  • Cropping, screenshotting, or extracting portions of the certificate and presenting them out of context
  • Removing or obscuring the fine print disclaimer, credential ID, issue date, valid-through date, or PreciseFP branding
  • Printing and then re-scanning the certificate in a way that removes identifying information
  • Sharing a certificate that has been digitally signed, watermarked, or annotated by anyone other than PreciseFP

Fraud warning: Altering a certificate to change a name, date, score, or any other element is a misrepresentation of credential status and may constitute fraud. PreciseFP reserves the right to pursue appropriate legal remedies for certificate fraud.

6.4 Expiration and the Certificate PDF

When your credential expires:

  • You must immediately stop sharing the certificate PDF in any form, including attachments, printed copies, and portfolio inclusions
  • If you have previously provided a copy of the certificate to a client, employer, or other party, you should notify them that the credential has expired
  • You may share the certificate again only after completing renewal and receiving a new certificate with an updated issue date and Credential ID

If asked to prove your certification status during or after the expiration period, direct the requestor to the verification registry rather than sharing a PDF that may show an expired date.

6.5 Directing Requestors to the Registry

When a client, employer, compliance officer, or other party requests verification of your PreciseFP AI Certified status, the preferred response is to direct them to the verification registry rather than providing the certificate PDF. This ensures they see current status, including whether the credential is active, expired, or revoked.

Suggested language:

“You can verify my PreciseFP AI Certified credential at [INSERT VERIFICATION URL]. My Credential ID is [CREDENTIAL ID]. The registry will show my current certification status.”

7. Firm and Employer Use

Advisory firms and employers of certified individuals may reference the credential in firm-level marketing and communications, subject to the following rules.

7.1 Permitted Firm-Level Uses

  • Stating the number of certified staff (e.g., “5 of our advisors are PreciseFP AI Certified”), provided the count is accurate and all named individuals hold active credentials
  • Listing certified team members by name on a firm website or in a team bio, provided the credential is noted as “PreciseFP AI Certified” and includes the year or expiration status
  • Referencing the certification in RFP responses, due diligence questionnaires, or advisor profiles, with a link to the verification registry
  • Including the credential in compliance training records and continuing education logs for internal documentation purposes

7.2 Firm Prohibited Uses

  • Displaying a firm-level version of the badge that was not issued to a specific individual
  • Claiming firm-wide certification when only some staff are certified
  • Referencing expired or revoked credentials as current in firm marketing materials
  • Using the certification to imply regulatory compliance or firm-level endorsement by PreciseFP

8. Suggested Display Language

The following language is approved for use when referencing either credential in written materials:

Individual use (short form)

“PreciseFP AI Certified (2025) — Product education credential recognizing proficiency in PreciseFP’s AI-powered client data features.”

Individual use (long form)

“I am PreciseFP AI Certified, having completed PreciseFP’s AI Certification program covering AI-powered client data gathering workflows, tools, and platform best practices. This is a product education credential and does not constitute a regulatory license or CE credit.”

Firm use

“[X] members of our advisory team are PreciseFP AI Certified, reflecting our firm’s commitment to leveraging technology to improve the client data experience. PreciseFP AI Certified is a product education credential issued by PreciseFP and does not constitute a regulatory license.”

9. Renewal and Expiration

Credentials are valid for 12 months from the date of issuance. Credential holders will receive a renewal reminder 60 days before expiration. Upon completing renewal, a new badge with an updated issue date and a new certificate PDF will be issued. The previous certificate PDF should be replaced with the renewed version.

Credential holders with lapsed credentials must complete the renewal process before resuming display of either the badge or the certificate.

10. Reporting Misuse

If you observe improper use of the PreciseFP AI Certified badge or certificate by another party — including display by someone whose credential is expired or revoked, or use of an altered certificate — please report it to support@precisefp.com. PreciseFP will investigate all reported misuse.

11. Consequences of Violation

Violation of this policy may result in:

  • Immediate revocation of the PreciseFP AI Certified credential
  • Permanent ineligibility to participate in future cohorts of the Program
  • Notification to the credential holder’s employer or firm, where applicable
  • Legal action in cases of fraudulent alteration or misrepresentation of the certificate

Credential holders who become aware of their own inadvertent violation should contact support@precisefp.com promptly. Good-faith disclosures will be considered in any remedial action.
